Relay For Life - After

Well, Relay for Life came and went 4/21 through 4/23 and now it has been a while after. This was the first ever RFL event I have participated in. For those who donated to the cause through me and might like to know, you helped our team far exceed our goal. We were hoping to collect/raise about $1700. We actually exceeded our goal by about $500. Thank you again to everyone who contributed.

Maybe you noticed the Saturday date above. The RFL was supposed to take place Friday but due to heavy downpour Friday PM, we had to shut it down Friday and start it back up again Saturday morning. So, even though the late night ambiance was lost, we had a beautiful, low humidity, clear blue sky day Saturday. The event leaders did a great job of regrouping Saturday. Having to postpone everything sort of jerked the rug out from under them so to speak and they did a great job of recovering.
